Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Newton WHITACRE and Louisa Jane NORMAN. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Charles Tildon, Bushrod, Grover Cleveland, Thomas Hendricks, Richard Earnest, Earl N., Cora Jane, Nora Mahalia, Louzetta and Suzetta.
