Francis Augustine WALLINGFORD 
Francis Augustine was born on June 25th, 1841 in Lewis Co., Kentucky.1 Francis Augustine's father was Mark B. WALLINGFORD and his mother was Martha Ann WILLETT. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas WALLINGFORD and Alice HAYES; his maternal grandparents were Richard WILLETT and Nancy Ann WILLETT. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Alvin Monroe, Webster Napoleon, Julia Ann, Nancy Sorentha, Mary Alice, Martha Elizabeth and Sarah Emma. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 23 on November 8th, 1864. He was buried in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Mason County, Kentucky.2 1 General Notes
