Sir William Venables 
William was born in 1263 in Kinderton cum Hulme, Northwich, Cheshire, England.1 William's father was William de Venables and his mother was Margaret Dutton. His paternal grandparents were Roger de Venables and Alice Peninton; his maternal grandparents were Thomas de Dutton and Philippa de Standon. He had a brother and a sister, named Hugh and Cecelia.
