Elizabeth Underwood

Elizabeth was born on October 15th, 1833 in Green County, Kentucky.¹ Elizabeth's father was Abraham Hiram Underwood and her mother was Mary Roark. Her paternal grandparents were Caleb Underwood and Elizabeth Wardrum; her maternal grandparents were William Roark and Nancy Warren. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, James, Louis, Samuel, Abraham, Randol, Cynthia, Jane, Nancy, Caroline and Mary. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 34 on March 18th, 1868 in Kentucky. She was buried in 1868 in Snow Hill Cemetery, Taylor County, Kentucky.²²
