Alva Nola Turner 
Alva Nola was born on February 1st, 1878 in Jefferson Co, IL and his baptism took place in Draft Registration. Alva Nola's father was Thomas Averett Turner and his mother was Mary Jane Cox. His paternal grandparents were Monroe L. Turner and Martha Leah Grant. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Charles Andrew, Theodore, Duward Bellmont, Rosa Lee, Sadie Myrtle, Eva May, Evie Forest and Vara Fay.
