Laura Catherine 'Kate' Tilley 
Laura Catherine 'Kate' was born in 1851 in Chapel Hill, Orange Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1870. Laura Catherine 'Kate''s father was George William Tilley and her mother was Sarah Ellen Morrow. Her paternal grandparents were James Tilley and Temperance Roberts. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James Franklin, John, George William, Martha Ann, Laura Fletcher, Nancy E. and Mary E.. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 22 in 1873 in White Co, AR.General Notes
