Claude Donald Tilley 
Claude Donald was born on January 8th, 1902 in Smoky Creek Twp, Burke Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1910. Claude Donald's father was Alonzo Dural Tilley and his mother was Mary Lou Ellen Crouch. His paternal grandparents were James Sidney Tilley and Levana Gustine Leigh. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Herbert Bryant, Raymond H., James S., Richard Connelly, Jennie Augusta and Fannie Ruth. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 80 on April 24th, 1982 in Lenoir, Caldwell Co, NC.General Notes
