George B. Thompson 
George B. was born on October 28th, 1908. George B.'s father was Elijah Jefferson Thompson and his mother was Rosa Lee Despain. His maternal grandparents were Lewis Oscar Despain and Amanda J. Johnston. He had five brothers and four sisters, named McKinley, John J., Mate, Thomas M., Oscar J., Bessie, Mary J., Shirley D. and Hazel. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 88 in June 1997.General Notes
