Noel Taylor 
Noel was born in 1870 in Macoupin County, Illinois.1 Noel's father was John Taylor and his mother was Susan C. Newell. His maternal grandparents were James Newell and Ann Solomon. He had two sisters named Minnie Frances and Nancy Jane. He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William H. and Rosa Ellen. He died at the age of 71 in 1941.1 General Notes
