John Vernon Suitt 
John Vernon was born on September 28th, 1898 in Durham Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1930. John Vernon's father was Spencer M. 'Spence' Suitt and his mother was Minnie F. Barbee. His maternal grandparents were John Wesley Barbee and Kittie Louisa Rigsbee. He had a brother and a sister, named Lewis and Annie Hayes. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 72 on December 13th, 1970 in Butner, Granville Co, NC. He was buried on December 15th, 1970 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Durham, Durham Co, NC.General Notes
