Helen Stewart

Helen was born about 1520 in Dumbarton Castle, Strathclyde, Scotland.¹ Helen's father was 12th Earl of Lennox John Stewart and her mother was Elizabeth Stuart. Her maternal grandparents were 1st Earl of Atholl John Stuart and Eleanor Sinclair. She had three brothers and a sister, named 13th Earl of Lennox Matthew, 5th Seigneur d'Aubigny John, Robert and Janet. She was the third oldest of the five children.
