Miles Stapylton

Miles was born on March 1st, 1628. Miles' father was Robert Stapylton of Wighill and his mother was Katherine Fairfax dau of 1st Viscount of Walton and Gilling Castle. His paternal grandparents were Henry Stapylton and Mary Foster. He had a brother and three sisters, named Henry, Katherine, Elizabeth (or Isabel) and Mary. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 39 in January 1668.
