Rachel Skaggs 
Rachel was born in 1774.1 Rachel's father was Henry (The Long Hunter) Skaggs and her mother was Mary Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Susannah Moredock; her maternal grandparents were John Thompson and Mary Beason. She had five brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Solomon, David, Stephen, Sarah, Lucy, Sylvia and Polly. She was the second youngest of the ten children.-
