Martha Ellen Skaggs

Martha was born in 1842.¹ Martha's father was William (Bustle) Skaggs and her mother was Martha Patsy Perry. Her paternal grandparents were William (Squire) Skaggs and Mary (Polly) Pierce; her maternal grandparents were Obadiah Perry and Elizabeth. She had two brothers and a sister, named William, John and Nancy. She was the second youngest of the four children.
