James E. Skaggs

James E. was born on February 11th, 1898 in KY.¹ James E.'s father was John Matthew Skaggs and his mother was Sallie V. Roark. His maternal grandparents were James Roark and Mary M. Roberts. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Claude Ervin, Francis A. "Frank", Mary Lue, Nora Jane and Golda M.. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 80 on January 24th, 1979 in Henderson Co., KY. He was buried in 1979 in Fernwood Cemetery, Henderson, Henderson Co., KY.
