Ava Muriel 'Mearl' Simpson 
Ava Muriel 'Mearl' was born on May 30th, 1912 in Livingston Co, KY and her baptism took place in Census 1930. Ava Muriel 'Mearl''s father was John William Simpson and her mother was Yetta Lou Stokes. Her paternal grandparents were William Washington Simpson and Sarah Harris. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Everett Rue, Albert Lynn, William 'Willie' Casper, Velda Marie, Vinnie Virenus, Nellie Jewell, Alice 'Allie' Dean and Yetta Pearl. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 70 on September 7th, 1982 in Tuscon, Pima Co, AZ. She was buried in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Elizabethtown, Hardin Co, KY.General Notes
