William Simmons 
William was born in 1830 in White Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1860. William's father was Drury Simmons and his mother was Rutha Adair. His paternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had six brothers and two sisters, named James, Soloman, Francis, Zachariah, Joseph, Fineas Finis, Martha and Stacy. He was the oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Susan A.. He died at the age of 50 in 1880 in TN.General Notes
