John Henry's father was Jesse Bryan Silvey and his mother was Jane Hanson. His maternal grandparents were Reuben Crawford, Sr. Hanson and Margaret Jones. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Francis M., William C., Anna, Milly and Caroline.General Notes
