Emmett Shofner 
Emmett was born on March 23rd, 1878 in KY. Emmett's father was Thomas Jefferson Shofner and his mother was Mariah Elizabeth Sprowls. His maternal grandparents were William G. Sprowls and Sarah "Sally" Underwood. He had two brothers named Jesse Milton and William J.. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 72 on June 30th, 1950 in Bureau Co., IL.-
