James Shipley 
James was born in 1869 in , Crawford County, Arkansas, USA.1 James' father was William Park Shipley and his mother was Dovey Crabtree. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin SHIPLEY and Sarah "Sally" BURKETT. He had three sisters named Naoma, Emeline Mary and Sarilda Jane. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 10 on September 15th, 1879 in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri, USA.2 General Notes
