Mary Elizabeth SWAIM 
Mary Elizabeth was born on December 23rd, 1879 in Montgomery Co., Indiana.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was Daniel M. SWAIM and her mother was Lucinda Francis PAYTON. Her maternal grandparents were James Franklin PAYTON and Elizabeth RUSH. She had four brothers and two sisters, named George Franklin, Jesse Clyde, Charles Otto, James Edgar, Nora Belle and Sallie Edith. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 65 on November 13th, 1945 in Bellmore, Parke Co., Indiana. She was buried in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Parke Co., Indiana.2 2 General Notes
