Barthena STRICKLAND 
Barthena was born on July 7th, 1852. Barthena's father was John Ansell STRICKLAND and her mother was Martha A. D. STAPLER. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Lafayett STAPLER Sr. and Mary (Mrs. Thomas Lafayette) STAPLER. She had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas L., Mary May and Martha A. E.. She was the oldest of the four children. She died after 1852.-
