Maggie May (Margaret) was born on November 6th, 1880 in Hodgenville, LaRue, KY. Maggie May (Margaret)'s father was Joseph Eddy (Edward) SMITH and her mother was Nancy "Nannie" Elizabeth SCOTT. Her maternal grandparents were Dr. John L SCOTT and Josephine RODMAN. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Lindsey Afton, Pliny Cleland, Carl Scott, Marshall Daniel, Josie Eddy, Seatta Rodman and Fannie Young. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 78 on March 16th, 1959 in Portland, Multnomah County, OR. She was buried in Union Cemetery of Cedar Mill, Washington County, OR.1 Death Notes
