Cyrus Sirus Read was born on September 26th, 1853 in LaRue County, KY. Cyrus Sirus Read's father was James W SCOTT and his mother was Louisa Caroline McGAVOCK. His paternal grandparents were Marshall SCOTT and Nancy READ. He had four brothers and a sister, named James W., Marshall, Marshall Blucher, Franklin Douglas and Nancy J. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 82 on August 5th, 1936.General Notes
