William Roberts

William was born in 1757 in Duplin County, North Carolina.¹ William's father was Richard Roberts and his mother was UNKNOWN Mary. His paternal grandparents were William Roberts and UNKNOWN Unknown. He had four brothers and a sister, named Richard, Jesse, Wright R, James and Fereby. He was the oldest of the six children.
