Mary Elizabeth Roberts 
Mary Elizabeth was born on August 17th, 1878 in Cleveland Co, NC and her baptism took place in Marriage Info.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was John Elgin Roberts and her mother was Mary Jane Ware. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Roberts and Judith Clement. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Franklin, S. Lester, Zeb B. Vance, John Ellis, Georgeanna, Laura, Sudie and Ida Lee. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 90 on June 6th, 1969 in Shelby, Cleveland Co, NC. She was buried on June 7th, 1969 in Elizabeth Baptist Cemetery, Cleveland Co, NC.1 General Notes
