Francis Roberts 
Francis was born in 1849 in Granville Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1860.1 Francis' father was McKinsey Patterson Roberts and his mother was Rebecca Jones. His paternal grandparents were George Roberts and Nancy Mize. He had eight brothers and a sister, named George, James Dean, Duane M., Elijah Adolphus, William Therophilis, Eaton L., Thomas H., McKinsey Patterson and Sylvester 'Vesta' Mae. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.1 General Notes
