Demaris Roberts 
Demaris was born in 1836 in Orange Co, NC.1 Demaris' father was James H. Roberts and her mother was Jane Carrington. Her paternal grandparents were John Roberts and Elizabeth Jones. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas E., James, Henry, Francis 'Frank' Albert, Mary E., Louisa and Margaret. She was the third oldest of the eight children.1 General Notes
