Charles Jackson was born on September 1st, 1865 in Granville Co, NC and his baptism took place in Marriage Info.1 Charles Jackson's father was Capt. Andrew Jackson Roberts and his mother was Clara E. Parker. His paternal grandparents were Francis Roberts and Nancy Waggoner. He had two brothers and a sister, named Dewitt C., Andrew and Lucy R.. He was the oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers named Francis 'Frank', Luther Jackson and David Beauregard. He died at the age of 77 on January 16th, 1943 in Durham, Durham Co, NC. He was buried on January 18th, 1943 in Mount Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, Bahama, Durham Co, NC.1 General Notes
