Charles was born on April 27th, 1805 in Orange Co, NC.1 Charles' father was Jeremiah Roberts and his mother was Temperance Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Charles Roberts and Mary Langston. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James T., Joseph, George, Jeremiah, Celia, Mary, Anna, Temperance and Elizabeth.1 General Notes
