Rip 
Rip was born on July 31st, 1914 in Granville Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1930. Rip's father was John Lucius Roberts and his mother was Mattie Lee Green. His paternal grandparents were William Therophilis Roberts and Sally Rowland Forsyth. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Hubert William, John Lucius, Battle Caviness, Mozell Ora, Celia O. and Lavera L.. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 89 on March 18th, 2004 in Creedmoor, Granville Co, NC. He was buried on March 21st, 2004 in Creedmoor Cemetery, Creedmoor, Granville Co, NC.General Notes
