John Preston 
John was born in 1549 in Of Holker Hall, Lancashire, England. John's father was Christopher Preston and his mother was Margaret (Ludworth) Southworth. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Southworth and Margery Boteler. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Ann. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 48 on September 11th, 1597.General Notes
