Elizabeth Preston 
Elizabeth was born in 1516 in Preston Richard, Heversham, Westmoreland, England. Elizabeth's father was Sir Thomas Preston and her mother was Anne Thornburgh. Her maternal grandparents were William Thornburgh and Elizabeth Broughton. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Sheriff of Lancashire John, George, Christopher, Dorothy, Helen, Anne and Katherine. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
