Thomas Poyntz 
Thomas was born in 1381 in Iron Acton, Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, England. Thomas' father was Robert Poyntz and his mother was Catherine Fitz-Nichol. His paternal grandparents were Sir John Poyntz and Elizabeth de Clanvowe. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Nicholas, Maurice, Blanche, Isabel and Joan. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 in 1458 in Frampton Cotterel, Nympsfield, Gloucestershire, England.-
