Diniz, known as o Lavrador, was born on October 9th, 1261 in Lisboa, Portugal.1 O Lavrador's father was Alfonso III (o Bolonhes of) Portugal ,King of Portugal and his mother was Beatriz of Castile Heiress of Alcozea, etc. His maternal grandparents were Alfonso X of Castile King of Castile & Leon and Maria Guillen de Guzman. He was an only child. He died at the age of 63 on January 7th, 1325 in Santarem.2 -
