Sir Thomas was born in 1425 in Burford, Shropshire, England. Sir Thomas' father was Sir Edmund Plantagenet and his mother was Elizabeth Barre. His maternal grandparents were John Barre and Avice Poyntz. He had a brother and two sisters, named Sir Edmund, Anne and Eleanor. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 48 in 1473 in Burford, Shropshire, England.-
