John was born in 1514 in Shropshire, England.1   John's father was Robert Pemberton and his mother was Alice Stokes.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Pemberton and Jane.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 56 in 1570 in Aston, Shropshire, England.1
