Jeremiah was born on November 20th, 1697 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.1 Jeremiah's father was Thomas Peckham and his mother was Hannah Weeden. His paternal grandfather was John Peckham; his maternal grandparents were William Weeden and Abigail Bailey. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Thomas, Uriah, UNKNOWN, James, Sarah and Hannah. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Hannah, Susannah and Elizabeth.General Notes
