James Peckham

James was born in 1649 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.¹ James' father was John Peckham and his mother was Eleanor Weaver. His maternal grandparents were Clement Weaver and Rebecca Holbrook. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Clement, Stephen, Deborah, Rebecca, Sarah, Pheobe, Elizabeth and Susannah. He was the oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers named Thomas and William. He died at the age of 63 on February 26th, 1712 in Little Compton, Newport, Rhode Island.¹
