Margaret was born in 1540 in Beccles, Suffolk, England. Margaret's father was Robert of Beccles Peke and her mother was Johan (Johun). Her paternal grandparents were Henry of Carletown Peke and Margery Leeke. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John of Beccles, Thomas of Beccles, Robert, Joan, Olive and Anne. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had a half-sister named Margaret. She died at the age of 16 on October 30th, 1556.General Notes
