William was born in 1844 in Robertson Co, TN.1 William's father was Elijah Parker and his mother was Martha Susan Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Ephraim Roberts and Nancy Harris. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Nancy A.. He was the youngest of the three children.1 General Notes
