Sir Robert Walter Oliphant (Walter the Steward)

Robert was born in 1280 in Aberdalgie, Perthshire, Scotland.¹ Robert's father was William Oliphant and his mother was Isabel Douglas. His paternal grandparents were Walter Oliphant and Christian Strathearn; his maternal grandparents were Sir Andrew Douglas and Lady Margaret Crawford. He was an only child. He died at the age of 46 in 1326.¹
