Alexander was born about 1374 in Auchterhouse, Angusshire, Scotland.1 Alexander's father was Sheriff Walter Ogilvy of Angusshire and his mother was Isabel Ramsay. His paternal grandparents were Walter Ogilvy and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Sir Malcolm Ramsay and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and a sister, named Walter, Andrew, John and Marjory. He was the oldest of the five children. He died on July 14th, 1421 in Auchterhouse, Angusshire, Scotland.2 -
