Peyton Seaborn was born on October 25th, 1839. Peyton Seaborn's father was Peyton Wyatt NORMAN and his mother was Betsey (Betsey). His paternal grandparents were William Harrison NORMAN and Jane (Jensey Or Jincy) YORK. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William H., George Washington, John Stokes (Jack), Thomas Ellington, Samuel Wyatt, Jane Elizabeth, Hattie, Mary Louisa, Salley and Mattie. He died at the age of 64 on May 6th, 1904.General Notes
Private in Co. G, 15 Reg., Georgia Volunteer Inf., Army of Northern Virginia, C.S.A., Lincoln Co., GA., Lamar Confederates. Wounded, skull fracture, at 2d Manassas, VA., Aug. 30, 1862. Captured at Gettysburg, PA., July 3,1863. Paroled at Point Lookout, MD. for exchange 2/18/1865.
