Emily was born in 1842 in Ohio. Emily's father was Jabez **** NORMAN and her mother was Ann Catherine (Mrs. Jabez) NORMAN. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin **** NORMAN Sr. and Margaret **** ASBURY. She had a brother and a sister, named Ephriam (Twin) and Martha (Twin). She was the oldest of the three children. She had seven half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Daniel, William, John, Joshua N. ****, Henry, Joseph, David, Ann and Charity Ann.General Notes
