Benjamin NORMAN Jr. 
Benjamin was born on November 21st, 1794 in Culpeper, Culpeper Co., VA.. Benjamin's father was Benjamin **** NORMAN Sr. and his mother was Margaret **** ASBURY. His paternal grandparents were John C. Norman and Sarah **** McMURRIN. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, Daniel, Abraham, George, Jabez ****, Samuel, Isaac, James, Nancy and Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named William, Andrew, Thomas J., Johnson Jonathan and Rosannah. He died at the age of 49 on June 25th, 1844 in Zanesville, Muskegum Co., OH.. He was buried in Creveling Cem. ??.General Notes
He was in Muskingham County Ohio by 1823 for that is when he wed his wife Charlotte Ligget. Some of their children had strange names: Simeon, Susanann, Artellius (AV), Amos, Thomas, Margaret, and Alexander. His land was deeded to him in 1833 by Ann and Elijah Norman. Ann and Elijah wed in Muskingum County. Benjamin died in Muskingham County in 1844 at age of fifty.
