Luther Coy was born on June 26th, 1906 in Person Co, NC. Luther Coy's father was John Philip Murray and his mother was Luvenia Florence Gentry. His maternal grandparents were Henry Washington Gentry and Susan Frances 'Fannie' Rhew. He was an only child. He died at the age of 74 on January 27th, 1981 in Cumberland Co, NC.General Notes
