Simon Montacute 
Simon was born in 1305 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.1 Simon's father was Baron Montague William de Montague and his mother was Elizabeth de Montfort. His paternal grandparents were Simon de Montague and Hawise de St. Armand; his maternal grandparents were Peter de Montfort II and Mathilda de la Marr. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Edward, Elizabeth, Maud, Alice, Mary, Katherine, Hawise and Isabel. He was the third oldest of the ten children.-
