Mimey, known as Mimey, was born in 1764 in Culpeper Co., VA.. Mimey's father was Joseph T. Norman and her mother was Sarah EVERETT. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Norman and Frances C. Courtney. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, Sally, Kesiah, Peggy and Fanny. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James Madison, Isaac, William, Mary and Winney.-
