Joshua was born on July 9th, 1870 in Ohio. Joshua's father was John McCLARY and his mother was Sarah Ann NORMAN. His maternal grandparents were Isaac NORMAN and Isabel WISE. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, Abraham B., Isaac, Jacob, Christian, Henry, John Freeman, Catherine, Elizabeth, Hannah, Amanda and Minnie May. He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 28 on September 10th, 1898 in Coshocton Co., OH..
